Luxury under Stars

The place is stunning. The facilities are very clean. The hosts are very helpful. We could not have found a nicer place to stay - hopefully next time for longer.

We had booked a campsite but changed to a lodge room due to torrential rain. Very accommodating and helpful manager. Great lodge - we'd love to come back in good weather to explore a bit more.

Very enjoyable, and vegan options available!

The structure is perfect, and people were lovely. Plenty of hiking trails available and some to do with mountain bike as well (available to rent at reception). The facilities were very good, very nice food at the restaurant with plenty of vegan options, which was a pleasant surprise! Only thing, the lack of electricity at the camping site (which is clearly stated, so we knew about it in advance). Otherwise I would have given 5 stars to everything!

Schöner Aufenthalt in Aus. Wanderwege direkt vom Campingplatz aus startend. Pool/Restaurant/Shop sind relativ weit vom Campingplatz entfernt - sollte bedacht werden. War für uns aber kein Problem.

Ein toller Campingplatz mit traumhaften Campsites. Wir haben bei Ankfunft direkt eine Abkühlung im Pool der Lodge genommen! Am Abend hat sich noch der Nachtwächter persönlich vorgestellt. Ein rundum toller Aufenthalt 😊

Accueil très sympa et très réactif vu que nous avons changé d'avis à notre arrivée pour passer du camping à une réservation en lodge. Ils nous ont trouvé un lodge superbe bien situé et magnifiquement équipé.

Die Dame an der Rezeption war sehr unfreundlich. Naja, passiert. Wir machen uns auf den Weg zur Campsite, welche mehrere Kilometer von der Rezeption entfernt liegt. Wir wurden darauf hingewiesen, dass es dort Affen gibt und immer mal wieder Diebstähle. Dort angekommen mussten wir feststellen, dass es weder Strom gibt, noch nahe gelegene Toiletten. Außerdem ist die Lage noch schön. Die Lodges hingegen sehen sehr schön aus. Wir würden diese Campsite nicht empfehlen. Sondern eher in Aus direkt eines der Selbstversorger Häuser.

Wir haben einen Platz auf dem Campsite gehabt und waren sehr zufrieden. Es ist sauber, ruhig und die Lage ist top. Die Nutzung des Pools macht dann den Aufenthalt perfekt. Die Unterkunft ist gut geeignet, um einen Ausflug nach Lüderitz, Kolmanskop zu machen.

Nice campsite. Clean bathrooms with nice hot water. Area for washing up dishes needs some clearing up of weeds.

La situation des emplacements de camping est remarquable dans un magnifique amphithéâtre rocheux. Les emplacements sont vastes et les sanitaires bien entretenus et fonctionnels.

Campground très accueillant

Le campground est composé d'une dizaine d'emplacement, situés à 2 km du bâtiment d'accueil (hotel, restaurant) et de la piscine ouverte aux campeurs. Les emplacements se trouvent tous sous un arbre, équipés avec un accès d'eau, une table, un barbecue, et quelques palissades en branchages qui protègent un peu de la vue des autres emplacements. Les sanitaires (douches, wc) sont corrects, il y a même des bacs pour la vaisselle et la lessive. Le gros point positif, ce sont les randos réalisables depuis le campground même. Un panneau d'informations les détaille, vous pouvez aussi les retrouver sur le site du campground (http://www.klein-aus-vista.com/activities/hiking/). Depuis le camp, n'hésitez pas à faire le Vista trail pour aller voir le coucher de soleil fabuleux depuis le sommet...
