“Tout était parfait. L'emplacement, la gentillesse, la chambre et les espaces communs. Petit déjeuner copieux avec aussi des fruits frais et une dégustation de l'huile d'olive EVO qu'ils produisent. Parking aisé dans la rue. A proximité : plage de punto prosciutto à proximité ainsi que d'autres à découvir, réserve naturelle, salins et observation d'oiseaux. ”

“This hotel says it has a 24hr desk in the info. We arrived at 10pm and there was nobody there. Nobody answered the buzzer or the phone. When we contacted hotels.com they said they could not reach the hotel and could not confirm that we didn't stay there, so they refused to give us a refund... even though we booked another hotel the same night from hotels.com. I was expecting a sincere apology but instead have to go through the trouble of disputing this with my credit card. Crazy.”

“Stunning grounds, fantastic castle and winery tour and wonderful warm and friendly people that are passionate about making your stay perfect. The simera wine tasting with lunch was ridiculously great value. Topped off by a really impressive sunset over the vines, it was like they arranged everything. We went very early in the season so we practically had the Scuderie to ourselves, and there wasn’t a wedding in the castle so it was totally peaceful. Beautiful place that makes beautiful wine!”

“In a nutshell, the owner of this property is apparently a very respected and competent vintner. That being said, everything about this property (and I mean everything), plays a distant second fiddle to the winery. I think the unsubtle message is that guest rooms and the meagre facilities are clearly there solely to provide cash flow to the winery. Oenophiles will be absolutely fine with this but for everyone else, two days will be more than enough.”
