“Cozy apartment under the roof with an outstanding view on the marina and Pica island, very convenient location in the heart of the city. Everything that you need (including washer) in the apartment. The host provided with helpful recommendations and ordered taxi for us from the airport. We’ll be definitely coming back.”

“Well located hotel across from ferry terminal and marina. Very close to cafes and shops. Pool and lounging patio was wonderful to use on a warm day. There is a bar adjoining the pool with a very hardworking bartender who somehow managed to efficiently serve a large crowd all by himself. Breakfast buffet was nice with several high quality options including fresh pancakes, hot dishes, and lots of pastries and desserts. The desk staff seemed overwhelmed by the number of guests. “Nice rooms in an apartment like setting. Full kitchens. A few minor issues with room but contacts were helpful in resolving. Walkable to Marina areas with lots of bars/restaurants. Beach close as well. Open window and hear the waves.”

“Great stay here! It was clean and quiet and they have all the amenities of home, even a washing machine and clothes line which is very helpful after hiking Pico Mountain”

“We loved our three day stay! It was a 10min walk to a fabulous bakery and 15min walk to the village. We were treated to a weekend festival with food and music each of the three nights we were there. It was an easy drive from the airport and to all locations of interest on the island. We would recommend this place to couples or families travelling to Pico who want a quiet and relaxing vacation.”

“This amazing & historical Hotel is absolutely perfect. It’s central & close location to the harbor & all it has to offer is 2nd to none. The rooms were spotless & comfortable as well. The wonderful staff, including all the people manning the restaurant surpassed our expectations & attended to our every need. “Super Empfang von sehr nettem Personal, schöner Pool, toller Ausblick auf die Weinfelder und Faial, Zimmereinrichtung etwas in die Jahre gekommen, Frühstücksauswahl mit Rührei, Käse, Joghurt, Gemüse, Obst, Marmelade. Weil unsere Fähre früh fuhr, bekamen wir sogar etwas früher Frühstück. ”

“I stayed in The dorms which were spotless, my daughter and granddaughter had a room which also was lovely and and clean, breakfast was a good variety but the Cooked Food could of been hotter, other than that our stay was perfect.”
