It was an amazing stay, beautiful room and living area. The spa area was amazing! Due to an injury, the elevator was important and several times we did get stuck inside of it. That was the only issue. Also, the elevator does not go to the top floor and you need to do 5 steps to get to the elevator.

The view was stunning! The staff very helpful. The ones working in the kitchen, need to be rewarded for their kindness and their hard work! I would highly recommend this hotel to stay in!

The apartment was an excellent size with the second bedroom far enough away from the other to give each other privacy. There was also a separate toilet and large bathroom. The bathroom had both a bath and a shower. The kitchen was well equipped and a good size. The balcony was nice for sitting out on but you couldn't have a family dinner there as it's long and thin. Very comfortable beds with good quality mattresses in both rooms. The saunas and two quiet rooms downstairs were a lovely bonus and we made use of these each night. The one star missing is only for the following two reasons. 1. At night there can be some noise from the lift and elsewhere in the hotel and I needed to drown this noise out to be able to sleep. However, it didn't bother the other three people I was with. 2. The car park is very small and always full so don't rely on being next to the hotel. I would stay again though but ask for a room away from the lift.

Bait and Switch in Bad Reichenhall

The advert on Hotels.com is misleading and should be changed . There is no Alpenstadt Hotel. There are 3 different hotels, and you are allocated to one when you arrive. Only one has a manned reception, and parking is a lottery. We had to go to a different hotel (Sonnebichel) for breakfast, and there was no step free access. Our particular hotel (Erika)was an old building with nicely appointed rooms though the door to the balcony was in need of attention. There was a lift, possibly the smallest I've ever seen, and would not be suitable for many wheelchair users. Main issue is lack of staff on reception (the Erika had none) to handle queries, nor is any information provided in the room. Disappointing and poor value for money.

Lovely little hotel close to Salzburg

Very nice staffs; good breakfast. My room had an awesome balcony looking over the mountains. It’s a cute little town very close to Salzburg of you have a car. They also provide free tickets to public transports if needed into Salzburg.

A stay was perfect. We had a 55m apartment, very well equipped kitchen which includes own, microwave own, kettle, washing machine etc., big bedroom, huge living room and balcony. Also big enough bathroom with shower and bath. Breakfast was very nice as well like a 4 star hotel. Hotels is showing this accommodation as 4 star hotel, in fact is 3 star hotel but in reality we feel like 4 star customers.

Mooie kamers in historische pension. Hotel bestaat uit 3 losse gebouwen. Moderne upgrade van gezamenlijke ruimten. Wij zaten op een kamer van het pension “Erika” mooie hoge kamer. In de zomer wel erg heet. Geen airco en geen horren voor de ramen, waardoor deze niet open kunnen, zonder binnenkomst van insecten. Wel een ventilator kunnen regelen.

Sehr schönes Hotel mit ganz toller Einrichtung. Liebevoll gestaltete geräumige Zimmer. Großes Bad. Balkon mit Sitzgelegenheit und Sonnenschirm. Frühstück mit viel Auswahl, leckerer Wurst und Käse. Guter Kaffee, frisches Obst, mehrere Säfte und leckerer Kuchen. Personal ist sehr aufmerksam, legt ständig nach und desinfiziert die Tische nach Gebrauch. Einziges Manko, der Aufzug im Haupthaus geht nur in den 2. Stock, die Zimmer im 3. Stock müssen noch ein Stockwerk die Treppe nehmen.
