"Very beautiful place with very welcoming owners.
This break at the end of the working day was very relaxing.
For Europeans not used to loadshedding, bring mosquito repellent to protect yourself from their arrival when the fan stops!
This will not stop me from coming back each time I will visit Paarl. I will then also be able to dine at the restaurant, which I have heard so much about."

"No provision made with water supply when power went out due to loadshedding. You could not use the bathroom at all. NO extra drinking water in the room. Breakfast at restaurant was also not great. Sorry, not a good overall experience at all. It is situated in a beautiful area. "

"Lovely high spec cottage. Clean and new interiors. A romantic stay for couples but we had a three year old! Peaceful and quiet location. A short drive to shops and not too far to some good vineyards. Breakfast was quite nice but would be good to have a helpful option. My daughter loved the trampoline and small playground. Felt like a safe location. I’d recommend taking the hotel up on their offer of starting the hot tub for arrival as I couldn’t manage it!"

"Lovely stay in Franschhoek. Fairly new hotel with beautiful amenities and great location. Only issue was there weren’t power outlets in the bathroom. Otherwise a great space and we enjoyed our stay. "
"Clouds Estate was simply breathtakingly beautiful experience. Fabulous, luxury accommodation set within the vineyards of Stellenbosch. Dinner in the evening was excellent and a lovely selection of hot and cold breakfast choices each morning. The pool area was clean and welcoming with stunning views making this a very relaxing few days. Staff were very welcoming and extremely helpful. A fabulous venue to celebrate a special Birthday.
We received a recommendation for dinner at Graff estate next door and we were driven and collected by concierge at Clouds by golf buggy. We hope to return soon. Thanks for a wonderful stay, one I shall never forget. A huge thanks to Sharon for being so helpful and informative about the area."
"We had a wonderful stay at The Last Word in Franschoek. Great location which gave us the ability to walk to all the shops and restaurants. Breakfast was delicious and beautiful. The service was above and beyond. Rooms were so comfortable we made ourselves right at home. Our own pool, sitting room, and even a mat to work out with. "
"Absolutely amazing stay with great staff. It’s so pretty and the rooms are fantastic, they even set up our high tea in the rose garden when we asked if there was an alternative space outdoor space. I thought I was in the south of France."
"The Grande Roche is a wonderful place with such kind, happy and thoughtful management and staff. In particular thank you to Marchello, Denai and Veena for making my stay so comfortable - you are wonderful people! The whole vibe is very chilled and friendly. The views out onto the grounds and vineyards are stunning - the landscaping and gardening give a sense of luxury and connection with nature. I really loved the sense of calm. The room was beautful, and the breakfast was delicious with plenty of cooked to order choices, and I will miss dining next to the fire in the evenings - the chef was amazing! Thank you to all the staff at Grande Roche - keep up the amazing work!"
"Just wonderful! We loved staying in the farmhouse. The farm is great and beautiful. The staff are so helpful and kind. We loved every minute of our stay. "
"This was our second visit. The property is in the most beautiful setting with gorgeous views. The staff are extremely hospitable. The food is so tasty and healthy too! The spa was fantastic and the massages we got were some of the best we ever had. 10/10"
