“First the positives. Helpful cheerful staff and good facilities: dining room and bar were nicely decorated and set out. The food served at breakfast was very good. Location of hotel is perfect for exploring Bakewell town centre, which is beautiful. Negatives. We had a room in the annexe across the road. “No staff there to check us in - had to go find someone but to be fair they were doing double duty in bar and hotel. Room itself was clean and tidy but hallway carpets weren’t great. Breakfast was delicious. Could use a mini fridge in the room. Parking was ample.”
