“My wife and I had a fabulous 2 night stay. Our room was lovely, staff were very helpful and friendly and the food was first class. The bar was a lovely place to relax after a long day walking. We would definitely return for another visit. I have only one observation to feedback, and its minor. The decor in our bathroom was tired and needs looking at. The bathroom was clean and tidy, but paint work and fixtures were beginning to show their age.”

“Very good hotel, however we were disappointed by the amount of dogs that were there including loud barking. I realise that hospitality has had to change especially since Covid but i prefer a time when dogs were not allowed in hotels and catering premises”

“We have stayed here before & loved this place. This time we were disappointed this with the room allocated room 012. It was small with a sloping ceiling and an uncomfortable bed... more suited for single occupancy. We didn't ask to be moved but in hindsight should have given Knoll House the opportunity to relocate us. We would stay again but insist on a room worthy of the £200 spend.”

“Lovely room we stayed in(rye). Looks like it was a living room in it's past life. Lovely decorations and styling. Loved all the hares! (Not hairs). Really comfy bed. Dog hairs evident on the sofa and on the floor in some areas though which is is a negative. No fruit hardly at breakfast, lovely croissant and toast though, please don't charge for supplying lattes, I didn't have a big breakfast at all as I don't eat meat so I thought that was unreasonable for the price.”
