Lovely staff
We used the reception team to book our snorkelling activities and the whole experience was amazing! The breakfast was delicious and staff were super helpful and lovely. My mum was quite disappointed there was no kettle in the room though.

Väldigt trevligt hotell, med en fantastisk vacker och lummig trädgård. Fin pool. Jättebra ställe om man är okej med att det inte ligger direkt på stranden. Trevlig personal, vänligt bemötande.

Quiet and affordable.
Small but with a lovely garden and a small pool area. The hotel does not have direct access to the beach, but this is also reflected in the price. The beach is easily accessible next door. The restaurant was a pleasant surprise, perfectly nice food and also nice and quiet away from the quite busy road. Many other restaurants around, but then you have to accept some traffic noise. Would love to stay here again.

+ Badezimmer des Bungalows ist im Freien + sehr freundliche Hotelangestellte + netter kleiner Pool + sehr leckeres Frühstück - keine direkte Strandlage (aber zu Fuß nach ca. 10 Min. erreichbar) - direkt nebenan ist eine Moschee (während des Ramadans ist es nach Sonnenuntergang gegen 18:30 Uhr und vor Sonnenaufgang gegen 5 Uhr für ca. 1 Std. extrem laut)

Sehr schöner Garten mit schönem Pool
Das Zimmer war sehr schön und lag in einem sehr schönem Garten mit einem sehr schönem Pool. Das Frühstück war gut, es gab aber nur drei Variationen zur Auswahl, als ich mal Bananapancake haben wollte, gab es den einmal dann gab es keine Bananen mehr. Sonst habe ich dort nicht gegessen da es sehr leer war, ich war teilweise der einzige Gast. Das Hotel liegt übrigens gleich neben der Moschee und wegen Ramadan wurde dort häufig gesungen allerdings sehr gut, so dass es mich nicht gestört hat, es war nicht so ein schepperndes Geschreie wir man es sonst kennt.

Super bra Hotel ni inte får missa.
Super trevlig personal som verkligen gjorde sitt yttersta och det där lilla extra för att alla skulle trivas. Allting var väldigt välskött, rent och snyggt. Maten på Hotellet var fenomenal. Det mest prisvärda hotellet som vi har varit på.

Exquisite garden setting with friendly atmosphere
We visited Man's place during low season. The staff was extremy helpful and welcoming. Accommodation was good, room was clean, nice large pool, and the beaches are only 5 minutes away by foot.

Great stay
Although we picked the room with not water,it didn't matter because it was so hot. Felt comfortable and staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast wasn't anything fancy.

Great place if you avoid the deluxe room.
We stayed here for 3 nights while working our way around Bali on holiday. We originally booked the deluxe villa but on arrival found it to be unclean (dusty) with plenty of mosquitos in as there wasn't a complete seal to the room. We asked to move but a suitable room wasn't available until the next night so we moved then. The hotel staff were very helpful in helping us move and only charged us half the additional room charges to move to a nicer room. Breakfast was good, the pool area is very nice and the WIFI signal is decent. A lovely location near the restaurants and the beach.

Överlag ett fint hotell med vänlig och trevlig personal. Mysigt Poolområde. Ok restaurang lite dyr jämfört med övriga runt om. Väldigt dyra på aktiviteter, ordna detta själv i byn. Lite nära en Moske med böneutrop från 5 på morgonen.

Had a great stay here due to the fact there was no tv in the room. The room we had was at the back through some lovely gardens. Staff were good and we only had one meal there due to the time it took to get our lunch meal. Found a great place down the road for dinner, so all good. The bed in the room was clean and comfortable. The pool was great and the staff brought out towels with a smile.

fantastic place with nice rooms in a very butifiul garden and with the shower/bathroom in the open air in the back of the room - quite tasteful - from the the swimming pool in the garden you have a good view to mountains.The food was fantastic but a bit expensive compare to other Bali prices but the most tasteful food we have had yet at Bali - the standard at this hotel is quite high and the people working there are extremely nice and service minded this is more than a guesthouse / cottagr - it is a hotel with high standard.lĺ

Fräscht, mycket prisvärt hotell i lugna Pemuteran. Poolen förgyller verkligen trädgården och personalen är väldigt tillmötesgående. Generös frukost med flera menyalternativ: Engelsk frukost, Amerikansk frukost och Indonesisk frukost. Stämningen på hotellet är familjär och trevlig, rummet som vi hade kändes rymligt och fräscht, badrummet med utedusch är jättehärligt och här finns varmvatten i duschen. Hotellet hjälpte oss att boka en utbildning i Open Water Diving och vi genomförde kursen under veckan vi spenderade i Pemuteran. Besöket på Menjangan Island var verkligen en höjdpunkt, liksom stämningen i byn, där inget hetsigt säljande förekommer vilket vi uppskattar mycket. Läget på hotellet är bra, ligger utmed huvudgatan och själva trädgården och rummen ligger en bit in från gatan så man slipper trafikljud nästan helt. En moské i närheten hörs vissa tider på dygnet, och de vanligt förekommande tupparna och byggarbetarljuden, men inget som är överdrivet störande. Liksom flera andra som bodde på hotellet under vår vistelse, förlängde också vi antalet nätter som vi bodde här - från två dagar till totalt nio!

Small but a haven of quiet
We stayed for a week in a standard room. Mann's is not on the beach, but it is only a short walk to get there. The beach is not amazingly good, but the coral just off it is fantastic. We ate at the hotel frequently during the week and were not disappointed. The prices were reasonable, and the mixed drinks generous. The staff struck a nice balance between having a presence but not being obtrusive. The garden is extremely lovely and the pool just fantastic. The standard rooms do not have hot water but have a very comfortable bed, a fully-functional mosquito net (not always the case in some hotels) and effective air conditioning. My requests for an early breakfast and transport were honoured in a timely fashion - to the minute, in fact. Since I first visited Pemuteran, there have been 3 mosques built, so the call to prayer mentioned in other reviews is likely to be an inescapable fact of life wherever you stay. All part of life's rich tapestry! There are much grander places to stay in the area. Being based in Jakarta, the cheap airfare means I have more to spend on a more upmarket hotel, but frankly I would rather stay at Mann's. We felt welcomed and comfortable there and plan to return.

Nous avons passé 2 nuits après l'ascension du Kawa Ijen à Java. Hotel très agréable, joli jardin, belle piscine avec chaises longues très confortables, chambre spacieuse, propre, très bonne literie, fauteuils confortables en terrasse. Dommage, pas d'accès direct à la mer, il faut passer par un petit chemin à côté, mais c'est pas très loin. Sur 2 nuits, on en a eu 1 très calme, mais la 2ème, on a entendu l'appel de la mosquée à 5h du matin ( pas très gênant car à Bali, de toute façon, on se réveille tôt, mais je préfère le préciser)

wonderful stay
We felt really looked after at the hotel. Great location and comfortable, clean rooms. Wish the breakfast was in the inside restaurant and not on the main-road side restaurant. Their own restaurant was a bit pricey though.

Hyggeligt hotel med smuk have
Meget fint lille hotel med den smukkeste have og dejlig pool med udsigt til bjerge i baggrunden. Hyggeligt med egen lille restaurant i haven også. Eneste minus er enormt meget larm når man bevæger sig ud til restauranten ved gaden, og deres spa var ikke god, da denne befandt sig klods op og ned af den mest trafikerede vej. Ikke just afstressende.

Leuk tijdelijk verblijf men's cottages.
Leuke setting. Lekker tropisch, echt Bali. Leuke kamers/cottages. Wel even wennen aan de openlucht toilet en douche, maar dat maakt het wel echt bijzonder. Niet opkijken dus als er wat insecten door de kamer kruipen. Heeft niets met de netheid van de kamer te maken want deze is prima. Lekker groot bed. Ook voor de kids was een goed matras neergelegd. Ook het ontbijt was prima. Personeel vriendelijk. De laatste ochtend vroeg uitgecheckt ivm het dolfijnen spotten. Maar er was netjes een ontbijtje voor ons klaargemaakt. Een lekkere kipsandwich en fruit. Hanengekraai sochtends vroeg wel storend. In de omgeving valt weinig te beleven.

I hope to go back!!
My partner and I booked our room online last minute without knowing how great this place was so it was a fantastic surprise when we arrived. We ended up staying two extra nights because it was so difficult to drag ourselves away. The town is also lovely with great restaurants and beautiful snorkelling. There is a beautiful pool, your rooms feel luxurious and private, the other guests were lovely, they have a delicious restaurant, and will serve you a fresh fruit juice or Bintang on the side of the pool.

A very pleasant stay!
Our stay at the Man's was very pleasant. We stayed for 3 nights in one of their Deluxe Bungalows. The town/village are not much more than a road with some restaurants, resorts and shops alongside, but the hotel area itself was very nice. A fine garden with walkpaths, as well as a sweet pool area with bar/eating. The staff are super friendly, helpful and service minded. The room/bungalow was nice with a cool outdoors shower, breakfast was superb, and the spa did a very good hot stone massage. They could be a bit more competitive on their tour/activity pricing, as we only had to walk a couple hundred meters to find several others tour operators with much lower price for the same activities. Snorkling both at the Biorock Coral Garden and at the Menjangan Island (take a boat out there) are highly recommended. Read some bad reviews regarding the mosque (or the minaret praying) and mosquitos, but this was not a big issue. Only one half hour of praying in the evening (loud), then fairly quiet the rest of the day. Some mosquitoes, but smoke and mosquitoe repellent everywhere. All in all a very pleasant stay!

While the hotel is nice and the staff are great the restaurant and the spa were right on a busy road so they were very noisy. The room was nice however. it wasn't convenient to get to the beach itis about a 10 minute walk to the beach but the snorkeling was very good. Hotel is overpriced for the area.

Mia & Herman are Man's Cottages!
Mia & Herman sorted out trips for us and are lovely people. The swimming pool was great - just a few metres from our bungalow (101). The breakfast was good and the restaurant served high quality food - the last night we had fish - mahi mahi with a dill, mustard & cream sauce - must be tried! Transport from & to the Airport was easily arranged ($65 AU) each way. Very good big bed and good mosquito netting. Lovely garden.
