โThis is a beautiful property located close to Normandy. It was a perfect place for us as a base from which to visit Omaha, Utah and Juno beaches, as well as the American and German cemeteries. The Hotel is in an elegant chateaux that has been converted into lovely rooms. We had a suite that was roomy and comfortable, with a great bathroom. Stunning grounds and gardens. A great pool. And the restaurant was over the top. Oliver and John are warm and friendly hosts. Elegant setting, amazing food...

โMy wife and I have been wanting to stay at the Hotel de la Marine for almost 20 years, since we ate at the restaurant there. Our stay of a single night was quite special. The excellent and friendly staff arranged a sea-view room for us and we were delighted with our views over la manche. โSpacious room with working air conditioning, clean and updated bathroom, looks like the hotel has been recently upgraded. The location is perfect, adjacent to the Cathedral, walking distance to all the shops, museums and restaurants. Breakfast was complimentary and it offered large varieties of food. โ
โWe spent two weeks at this hotel. The staff were brilliant, always helpful with a 'nothing is too much trouble' attitude. The rooms were well cared for, breakfast was a wonderful choice and to sum up, I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Bayeaux and the surrounding region.โ
