“We didn’t receive the check-in details until after the stated check-in time had already passed, which made arrival more stressful than it needed to be. The listing also mentioned breakfast, but no information was provided about it and we were unable to locate it during our stay. We also had trouble with the heating system. The only way we could get the heat to turn off was by turning off the hot water entirely. Additionally, the sofa bed pillows were simply the sofa cushions, which were far too...

“I never had of Newcastle West before, but if you are ever in this town, this is the place to be. My wife considered the breakfast "the best Irish breakfast in Ireland," and who am I to disagree? We truly enjoyed our stay (and the breakfast) as well the friendly staff including (especially Derek the manager). We need disability-friendly accommodations, and this hotel, in this regard, was a great place to stay. The true test of any hotel, is "Would you go back?," and we would gladly come back...

“Wonderful breakfast. Terribly fic homemade jam and marmalade!”

“Front desk staff helpful. No lift so stairs to rooms but staff did carry luggage. Convenient location, lovely dinner in bar. Close to Irwin’s for drinks and music. Not sure why but we were told not to drink tap water and had to carry water from bar. Very close to Cahir castle.”
