“Abbiamo soggiornato un weekend, in occasione della sagra della Varola a Melfi e devo dire che ci siamo trovate benissimo, tanto da decidere di ritornarci il prossimo anno. “Inizio col descrivere l'Hoste: persona gentile e molto disponibile. La struttura: centrale, sulla piazza di Laviano (borghetto piccolissimo e isolato), pulito, nuovo, munito di ogni comfort. E' presente uno spazio comune dove c'è una cucina fornita di tutto il necessario per la prima colazione e poi ci sono le singole stanze, ognuna con bagno privato. Per chi dovesse pernottare in questo paese la consiglio senza dubbio.”

“My great grandfather was born in the very small town of Aquara and, in planning our trip from the USA to Italy, we were looking for a peaceful, welcoming spot to stay while we paid a short visit to the city. The staff was terrifically accommodating and the property was beautiful. There is a restaurant, small bar and pool on site as well as short walking trail, hammocks and, since they are up on a hill, beautiful views of the valley below Aquara. ”

“It seemed like the owners was surprised by us really coming, although we booked a few months in advance. No warm welcome, just a small buena Sierra, no smile, no wifi code. Room was good with a great view, but all the shared facilities looked like they didn't expect and want any guests. Chairs and tables on top of each other, construction in the front including noises. “The bad: Our first issue happened at check-in. We booked and paid for (months in advance) a double room (separate bed rooms) and ended up only one choice - a small single room with only one (squeaking and uncomfortable) bed. There was no air conditioning, no fan and there was rising damp in the walls. The shower curtain was disgusting with mould.
