“Sehr freundliches Personal, traumhafte Poolvilla”

“Oct 2025 - be warned that they are building a pool (which will be amazing once completed!) but is currently a building site so very noisy during the day. Also your view from a ‘sea view’ villa will be very compromised!! The staff were very understanding and sorted an alternative day to the other side of the island on Lazy Beach (which is beautiful!). Clean room, good breakfast, right by the jetty for ferry. So much to like if it wasn’t for the building noise! Shame that no one seems to bother...

“The staff at Laguna Samloem went over and above to make sure I had the best possible island resort experience. In one day I already felt like part of the Laguna family. The room was clean and safe, while still offering that jungle island feel. Easy access to all expectations and needs. I hope to return one day soon!! Highly recommend!”

“Getting to the island involved catching the dedicated boat anchored offshore. Prepare to get wet! The journey was over an hour but with great views of Koh Ta Kiev island and others. We were welcomed by volunteers and Giovanni gave us a brief on arrival. We were shown to our accommodation which was just off the beach. The hut was on stilts and featured fairly comfortable beds with much needed mosquito nets, a balcony facing the sea, and complementary water. The activities on offer were varied...

“À notre arrivée, nous voulions fuir! Tout d'abord, aucune option de "déjeuners sur demande" sauf télécharger une application pour commander. Le personnel est incapable de nous indiquer des restaurants à proximité. Communication très difficile même avec Google traduction. Des insectes et des lézards habitaient dans la chambre. Nous avons eu des serviettes trop usées pour essuyer. Terrasse mal entretenue et lait périmé dans le réfrigérateur du marché. Le seul bon point, la piscine”

“Hôtel vétuste les fenêtres de la chambre ne se ferment pas et pas très propre du aux nombreux clients chinois qui jettent tout parterre et ce malgré un personnel cambodgien pas assez nombreux qui fait ce qu’il peut pour nettoyer. Après 4 jours il était temps de partir ”
