“Central ,clean and well equipped just missing a tv .Brilliant for dog walks and lots of places for breakfast ”

“Was a lovely place to stay, not too far from anything we wanted to do which was great. The host had kindly left milk, butter and eggs for us in the kitchen which we appreciated! The house was tidy and clean. My only comment would be that there were lots of cobwebs in the rooms but otherwise we had a lovely stay ”

“Lovely place to stay and perfect for exploring West Yorkshire and the Peak District. Accomodation was very clean and comfortable and owners and neighbours very friendly. Also has a lovely little courtyard where you can watch the sunset with either a glass or a cuppa. Will definitely stay again. ”

“Property is self catering house at edge of the town. Spacious and decent kitchen. Road quiet (liked that) and easy access to nature reserve/countryside walks. Parking a bit of an issue but didn’t detract from our stay. ”

“Felt a bit miss-sold, a 2 bedroom apartment which is basically a 1 bedroom, and a bed in a hallway. Hotel also didn’t give us the code, so we couldn’t get in, so spent an hour stood outside without a way of getting in. Fortunately some other guests arrived and let us in, or we’d have been out there all night….! ”

“The Snug was very comfortable and well equipped. It was also very clean. I could not work the shower but I did not contact the owner so I am sure it would have been sorted if I had. It was only three nights and there was a bath so I did not. It was well located, quite near to Matlock Bath. The bed was comfortable and it was well decorated throughout. ”
