Good, but Thin Walls

The view is absolutely incredible. The breakfast is also wonderful. However, the walls/doors are very thin, so if there is anyone in the lobby or floor hallway, you will hear every word.

The staff went out there way to accommodate your visit of not only the hotel but the city of Baños. Personally, this was one of the most memorable time in Baños for me. Thank you!

A lovely place!! One of the highlights of our Ecuador adventure. Our host and family were so welcoming and kind. The view from our balcony was breathtaking!! I highly recommend this hotel!!!

Great location on the river with excellent view. Good WiFi. Great breakfast. Comfortable bed, good shower. Location is outside of central area but taxi readily available for $2 each way. Only issue is that gate is locked after 8pm and we had a problem getting in one night.

Not a good value

An eco-resort surrounded by construction and multiple industrial buildings? There was a gutter hanging down our balcony and the place itself was not in an isolated area. Walking from downtown (about a mile) was passable but there were numerous buildings on the way, with dogs that ferociously barked and ran along the fence. (Not the typical stray dogs prominent in Ecuador). The towels were thin and the breakfast was just ok. (fried eggs and toast, fruit, juice). The "restaurant" was 5 tables in an enclosed sun-room, nothing fancy at all.The grounds were nice and yes the views magnificent; as the mountains and stream were visible, but this is visible from almost any window in all of Ecuador! The staff was present at the front desk for only a short time. When I went downstairs to ask a question at around 9pm, no one was there. Internet did not work and the shower area was not that clean. There was a small coffee maker in the room but if you used that there was nothing to use for hot water for tea.

Great Location

If you are looking for a relaxing location with a spectacular mountain view this is the place. Its not in the main area of Baños but taxis are only $1.50 USD each way and always available. Would stay there again anytime. The kitchen that makes breakfast has the best coffee you will ever have prepared from beans grown on the estate.

Stunning boutique hotel

This hotel is one of those places where you end up taking 100 photos of the same thing because you can't get over the perfection you're looking at! The view from our hotel room was unimaginably stunning! My best friend and I visited for my birthday weekend - and we were blown away. Staff is incredible and extremely caring. We wanted to do a bike tour to see the waterfalls; the staff ordered bicycles for us, which were dropped off at the hotel - and they told us exactly where to go to see each waterfall. Breakfast each morning was delicious and the room itself was beyond adorable. My heart actually hurts thinking of how much I wish I was still in Banos - and Aldea Real played a giant part in my heart's newfound love for the country of Ecuador! :)

Nice place . Good service. Excellent breakfast. Little difficult to find. Follow the "Refugio Hosteria" signs. Its one block farther.

Beautiful hotel with a beautiful view

The staff was great, especially the fact I was in a tough situation. Staff was very helpful with me. The view is amazing and I recommend this hotel to take a special person to for sure. 4 stars only because there is no fridge in the hotel room, and it was smaller than expected. If you can get around that than its worth the stay.

They have this one room with out a balcony looking to the back yard so the picture in the website can be misleading. They did change us to a nicer room with the view by the second night after we complain.

La relación calidad- precio es desproporcionada. Las habitaciones son muy pequeñas y no todas tienen balcón y hamaca. Si solicitas algo parece que les pesa atenderte. Los buenos del desayuno si. Excesivamente grasosos. Seguramente por ese precio habría entrado mucho mejor.
