"We were just passing through, but this is a lovely hotel. The staff was friendly on several interactions. I was able to do some laundry after a muddy hike. We ordered food from the restaurant to take back to the room and it was delicious."

Basalt is a quaint town and is located between Aspen and Glenwood Springs. Few restaurants, so prepare for that. Very easy to take the RFTA bus to Aspen.
