The hotel was difficult to find as the entrance is around the back and not on the main street. There were no signs at all to help. The hotel is nice and there are restaurants over the railway bridge. The bathroom is separated from the bedroom by a curtain, make sure you share with someone you know well!

Convenient location and value for money

The hotel offers all the basic amenities you would expect and is good value for money situated in a very central location with walkable distance from the city centre. The food was good, but could do with a bit more variety. Staff were also friendly and welcoming and the room was clean and comfortable.

ibis really puts the "budget" in budget with this chain, and this hotel fits the mold. Somewhere between a prison cell and a hotel room, the facilities here are functional to the extreme, but generally clean (linens fresh, did have long black hair on floor, and I'm blond...) Stayed here multiple times, staff is always great. Easy to walk over to the Bahnhof and multiple tram lines run nearby.

Great base for one night in Basel basic room but with everything we needed. Borrowed a hairdryer and adapter from reception which was useful - our son liked the bunk bed !

Clean and friendly for a short stay

Easy check-in and friendly staff on arrival. We were only there for a night after a cancelled flight, so only there for a few hours. But we both slept well and no problems at all whilst there! Not the biggest rooms, but for the price absolutely perfect.

Good value for money

Good location near the train station and with three different tram lines easily accessible. The room was clean and modern, nice shower, toilet in the “cupboard” a bit claustrophobic. Room is quite small, not made for a lot of luggage. The hotel is perfect for a short stay for a night before heading to the train station or the airport (airport bus leaves from just outside the train station).

This hotel was very affordable and extremely convenient for travel into the city. The hotel provided us with a Basel pass offering free travel and half price on many sights! The staff were exceptional. They were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great with a good choice . Would stay here again
