"We had jungle villa 3 which had been renovated and updated recently. Also came with a plunge pool. It’s a beautiful property and you get to experience all noises of the jungle. We saw red frogs (3) and a sloth and monkeys. We stayed 2 nights and felt good about that as the restaurants were limited and we could count ok in our villa but didn’t feel like it. I would definitely recommend for those looking to get away from crowds and experience nature in a very comfortable setting."

"The owners of Coral Bay really get it - by which I mean they provide excellent service, with a great attitude. My other Panama lodge experiences felt like I was in a developing nation - Coral Bay felt like what you experience in higher end European facilities."

"Refused to allow us to arrive early stating they did not have space - simply not true..it is a very large compound with many places to hang out. They need more staff - the owners are working too hard and seemed burned out. "

Understand that you want to travel light if staying here. Couple.. we had two backpacks and a carry-on. Easy money, it was a nice 8 min walk in a dirt path to the resort. Great experience.. great staff.. Just understand, this isnt a Hilton. This is a beautiful eco lodge type deal."
