“We were welcomed by the owner and she was charming. We had medication that needed to be refrigerated and she couldn't have helped more. The room and bathroom were spotless. Breakfast was great and at the time we requested. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed that evening but the owner was happy for us to picnic in the garden.....even offering plates or washing up. “We walked in from our pilgrim route tired and wet. We were put in a cramped w/c accessible room on the ground floor.There was a locked connecting door to the next room. The occupants returned, talking loudly, and apparently smoking as we could smell the cigarette smoke in our room.
