Well below expectation. Unhelpful staff.
For the cost of stay, the hotel was well below expectation. 1. The receptionist refused to change our room when we discovered that it was next to road side and mosque. Though hotel was almost empty, probably due to fasting month. Reason given was that check-in has been entered into the "system". 2. We were kept awake throughout the night by loud motor bike roaring as well as passing cars. And of course we were woken up early due to the mosque morning prayers. 3. Breakfast was a plate of cold fired rice which must have been prepared much earlier. The attendant did not bother to heat it up for us.

Very noisy from 12 midnight till 2 am. There are illegal street racing just infront of the hotel.

Not given the booked and payed Room
Booked and payed in advance the Triple Room (One queen one single ) but upon checking in, the staff said can't find my booking although I have the print out to show. They said only have two single bed room available . So no choice as it was pretty late upon check in. Ask for refund but they said need to check and email to Expedia

Overall Comfortable and new. No lift. Staf friendly. Breakfast not so much choice.many chairs outside the lobby which is good.

Convenient and clean hotel for short stay
We had a short stay over Chinese New Year. Room is clean and we had a non-smoking room. The only thing which is not so good is the room is not in the main building as we were told it was full. We had to go behind the building to get to our room.

Need to improve ID, ie positioning of furniture in the room not friendly positioned Need kettle in the room especially for 2nd floor To upgrade the breakfast menu, too simple just bread, 1/2 boiled egg & sausage, 3 in 1 drink overall it is nice hotel to stay

Beyond Expectation!
Awesome hotel! Room was comfortable enough and it is clean. Modern/minimalist design. Booked 1 queen and 1 single room. I like the pillow this hotel provided to its guest.

Everything was good! Thumbs up n keep it up. Just a small issued why we need to pay 50 cent for 6 minutes using ur iron? A bit shocked. Anyhow the hotel was nice and staff always smile to the guest.

Not worth the value
It's a fairly new hotel, but I was welcomed and checked out by rather unenthusiastic staffs. The only highlight about the hotel is very strong branding, many power points in the room and motion sensor lighting in the hallway. That's all. The rest of it is pure pain. First,I was given a room without a window, and it has very bad air ventilation, the room smells moldy (very strong!) and I was immediately put off by it. I believe all the materials they use for the hotel are from China- they have the look but no quality...especially everything in the bathroom. I doubt if this hotel can survive with these materials.. Not only that, the free internet they claimed to offer is basically non functional at all, and with that you're forced to buy their Wi-Fi service, and there's no mobile coverage in the room, hence I was completely cut off from any mobile signals. Bad choice for a work trip! The hotel is about 20mins away from Batu Pahat town center, nothing much you can do at night but sleep. I made a mistake by booking it because I thought it's in Batu Pahat. For all these and get charged for 118/night is a complete rip off! I'm have a very unhappy stay overall, please don't torture yourself.

Hi, We thank you for your response. we take note of your points for improvement. such as the ventilation and poor wifi...The free internet does not allow for youtube as it is only an ADSL service. Plans for fibre installation in Parit Raja is scheduled for 2016 which will be a more permanent solution. As for the ventilation, we have instructed for rooms to be aired more frequently particularly rooms without windows. Hotel Pintar a commuinity hotel located in Parit Raja and indeed the commute to Batu Pahat is round about 20 minutes. Thank you for your feedback.
