Very well run motel with a super friendly and efficient proprietress. My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay in clean, comfortable rooms, and Winnie looked after us all very well. Easy walk to the Paihia wharf, shops, and dining. Highly recommended.

The accommodation was clean but very basic and tired, definitely in need of updating. No water pressure from the shower and when we spoke to the proprietor she just laughed and shrugged it off. Wouldnt stay there again.

Winnie the host is lovely and the pool and BBQ area is great. Great location, short walk to Paihia wharf and all the great touristy stuff is from there.

A Jug full of old tea was left in the room no milk in room so gad to go get some from reception Was no blankets on bed but a sheets and bed cover so had a cold nap Otherwise everything else was good

My 10 Ye old son and I had a lovely stay at Averill Court. It was clean and fresh, the spa was great, easy walk to cat h the ferry. Winnie the manager is so lovely and accommodating and upgraded our room so we had a bed each, so kind. Wifi was also great. It was perfect for our weekend in Paihia. Would definitely stay again. Thanks so much! :)

Great location, pool and spa are great. Only comments are the blinds in the bedroom let neighbours light in at night, curtains would be better and the sofa bed mattress needs replacing. We were given option of air mattress which in hindsight would have been a good idea.

The room appeared recently refurbished or maybe just very well kept. The bed was soft but very comfortable and the linen and duvet was very light but warm. I think the owners and staff have done a really good job here.

Nice and quiet, very clean with nice spa and pool area. Good location close to beach and some nice restaurants, about 5-10 minute walk to central Piahia.

Lovely hosts who were exceptionally welcoming and helpful. Great location near the beach and local township. Very comfy beds and all the necessary facilities. Particularly enjoyed the spa pool.

Lovely affordable stay, pool and spa are great and can't beat the location! Winnie is very friendly and welcoming. We stayed on a Saturday night and there was a bit of noise from other guests into the early hours of the morning, walls are a bit thin.

Very basic but large room. Pool area very small and busy. No airconditioning so very warm on summer nights. Shower pressure very low. Close to Alfresco cafe and bar for decent meal and easy enough walk to town center and wharf.

Averill Court Motel is one of the best places we stayed at during our tour of Northland. Not only was it extremely clean, but the beds were comfortable, the staff very friendly, great pool right outside our door, and close to everything - lovely walks through the town, or the beach. This motel has "real" coffee which is a added bonus - not the cheap mass produced motel stuff that you often find in motels but good plunger coffee. Would defiantly stay there aagin if we ever have the opotunity

My family were in Pahia January 8 to January 10th 2021 and loved our stay at the Averill Motel. We were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded for free to the Palm House on the property. It was more than enough room for our family. Our accommodation was clean and very comfortable. Were in Paihia for a family birthday, we were the envy of family members staying at other accommodations. Thank you Winnie and your staff for making our stay enjoyable😊

Very friendly service, clean rooms, good quality beds for nice sleeps. Only small issue is there is no place to put your cloths in the room that we had. We will be back!

Great value for money
The motel was clean and comfortable and had been refreshed with a very tasteful paintjob. Beds were comfortable. It had a nice pool and spa pool. The only main drawback was the shower’s dribbly water pressure. We were well Looked after by Winnie The manager who was friendly and accommodating. Overall it was very good value for money and we would stay here again
