The hotel itself is beautiful. The attention to detail is extraordinary from the Orwell library when you step in, to the cafe, to the rooms. The rooms include rain shower heads, heated towel racks and heated mirrors. There is a personal outdoor seating area where we able to quietly enjoy our hot tea that was provided. โGerrards Cross is basically small town. You can't expect much on small but cozy hotel. Anyway, there are some part of the room have a room for improvement, but not bad.โ
โI was satisfied with this hotel. It's very near to watford Junction station and shuttle bus to Harry Potter Studio. Breakfast included and There are some good restaurants and supermarkets near the hotel. My family would recommend this place. โ
โBeautiful historic property. Residence of Gilbert of Gilbert and Sullivan. Room was spacious even though dated. Beautiful view of gardens. Lots of walks through forest. Felt like I was in a fairy tale. Beautiful lobby and breakfast room. Lots of breakfast options. Difficult to manage stairs with luggage. No lift. โ
