"Breakfast was standard, nothing special Bar downstairs had no vibe and closed early, upstairs was cool but no good in the rain, middle bar wasn’t really a bar. Food options were standard hotel level; nothing fancy. Pools weren’t heated but otherwise were fine. A cold hotel room plunge pool was a bit pointless. Hotel itself was very nice; clean, new, well positioned in the town."

"Modern design on a beautiful point. 270 degrees of ocean views. The hotel was full, but the layout offered us a lot of personal space and privacy. The staff were wonderful. For me & every tourists nightmare - I lost my passport on the plane. The concierge, Mariana, knew how stressful this was and was on the phone to the airline, the airport, and the police for us right away. She found it for me. Just incredible. Thank you, and thanks to the airport staff and police for being well prepared for these events."

"Voulisma Hills is a stunning oasis above Istron with amazing views of Mirabello Bay. The views alone are worth it! The property is exceptional with a beautiful swimming pool (warmed by the sun so quite warm in summer), lovely lounge chairs, and beautiful terraces attached to each apartment. The only negative aspect is the road to the villa, which is narrow and unpaved for the most part- but I do recommend accessing this property by car because it is basically inaccessible by foot if you have large suitcases, you will have to carry them up a steep hill and unpaved road for quite a while. But the spot is absolutely worth it!!"

"Inconsistent staff experience, on first day staff was spontaneous to provide beach towels them following days needed to find people to get those towels. Breakfast a little bit too crowded and noisy with limited selection. Over priced dinner buffet option to avoid. Italian restaurant on premise had great food but again service was not at level"

"The villa (Marianna) was exquisite. Overlooking Istron Bay and the Istron Hotel, the view was breathtaking. We were able to use the hotel’s amenities including beach chairs and umbrellas, which was nice. Dimitry was a great host and available to answer questions when they came up. Overall, highly recommend the private villas. Just bear in mind that access to the villas is via the Istron Hotel’s main access road so just enter the hotel as your destination otherwise you may just drive right by (like we did!)."
