"Wonderful hotel. Welcoming staff. After an awful stay in Brugge, this was exactly what we needed. Middleburg is a great little city. This hotel has real charm. The room is lovely, spacious and well equipped. Quiet location just on the edge of the town but lots of great places to eat within easy walking distance of the centre where there is lots to see and do. Great breakfast (pancakes especially good). Highly recommend this one and would stay again if in this part of The Netherlands."

"This is a gem! Fantastic value for money as far as I am concerned. Beautiful room, great restaurant menu and on Saturday they have a DJ liven up their cocktail bar. Free parking on sundays, easy parking in the near vincinity. They welcome pets for a reasonable fee and the staff was super welcoming. They have recently opened and are super aware of some minor issues, but they adrewsed them perfectly. I also found out that De Bij, in the past, was called De Mug, which was my elderly mum’s favorite hangout. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return! "
