The cabin had everything we needed; small fridge, coffee maker, heater, and a fan. There was a fire pit and some chairs, as well as wood for purchase. The kindling was a bit large (we didnt have an axe) but we were able to make a nice fire regardless. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Very affordable pricing as well!

You pay way too much for a cheap cabin that is just camping. Bathrooms and showers are in other buildings. Bed not very comfortable

It was very nice and quiet was a little disappointing at first as the ad didn’t state there was two lofts the one I booked we didn’t get, but the loft with cottage the second one we got, the view was excellent and we loved it. Just wish the ad stated both is all. But definitely loved the stay the management and customer service is excellent! Very nice camping ground !

We stayed in one of the cabins for 2 nights on our Nova scotia road trip! It was absolutely beautiful and cozy! The cabin had a deck with table and chairs over looking the bear river. The cabins do not have plumbing but the showers and toilets are very close. We found the beds and pillows very comfortable. The managment was great! Check in was easy and she was very accommodating. She helped us get set up and even had a few outdoor games for my daughter to play with. I would definitely camp here again!

This was a really quiet little place tucked away down by the river. It looks like they’re in the middle of doing some big improvements on the property, but right now it’s a bit of a mess. I stayed in one of the old cabins which was very rustic, which is fine, but it needed a deep clean and some repairs. It was pretty clear the floor hasn’t been swept or washed for a long time and there were spider webs in the corners and on the ceiling above the bed. Everything looked like it was from the 60s. A good clean and since updating would go a long way because it’s otherwise a beautiful little spot to enjoy.

Little cabin by the water
The hosts are very welcoming and helpful. New management and it needs a few upgrades. Very rustic and warming ambiance. The Bear River from our porch was very interesting to watch to almost no water to a full river as the tide went in and out. Overall, was very nice.

A special place that is undergoing renovations. The unit was newly done and the property is being overhauled. All staff were great and very helpful. Only a short drive to Digby where there is amazing seafood.

This was a cute place that is still being worked on. I rolled in by bike and the closest places for food was .5 miles away but it looks like this site is trying to get a general store open on the property. That will be great once the do. Other then that, the room was clean and bed was comfortable. It was also really quiet here too. Nice place.

while this campground has potential, it was under construction while we were there, we were not informed of this before check-in. We were put in a cabin in the construction zone. Noise and building supplies laying around our cabin. Mud and road ruts. Loss of power numerous times. Also, we were asked 5 times to cancel our Expedia reservation so the owners wouldnt have to pay their fee. I would not stay this particular campground again.

I booked a cottage to stay in with a loft and was told the day before I got their that the “roof” was leaking and they had to fix it so we couldn’t be in and offered us a dome to sleep in which was a mistake so many bugs spent half the night being eaten alive literally by bugs and to find out that the cottage i pre booked was given to someone else a family of 5 can’t sleep comfortably in a dome

We liked the cabin for the most part and the view was terrific. A few things needed fixed or updated. It looks like some of the property is a work in progress , debris lying around and things just not looking finished / professional. Also one shower had very little water pressure. Overall we had a great stay and i think it would be a terrific place if a few details were taken care of. The lady we delt with was very pleasant and helpful. Personally i think the cabins should be listed by their numbers and not a name ( standard, deluxe etc.) Or both,So you know exactly which one you were booking. We had a pleasant stay and i would probably go back.

Very sweet, kind man owns and it is a labour of love for him. Location is uniquely beautiful. NO cell signal in the valley but was the day after hurricane. Price was very reasonable. More Rustic than we anticipated.

Beautiful private cabins
These cabins were so cute,cozy and perfect! We had a microwave,fridge,fan,extra blankets/pillows etc Each cabin comes with a porch table and chairs with a bbq. There’s also fire pits. Bathroom and showers were really clean! Only thing the owner asks is you bring your own bed sheets.

Like the owner Bob he was very nice. I didn't know it was a camping ground so we were not prepared for it. Very quite and lots of wildlife. Beautiful scenery saw a crane in the water.

We only stayed one night before catching the ferry back to St. John but really enjoyed a quiet evening on the deck of the hut overlooking the river. We would definitely stay there again.

This place and his owner are very nice but we found some misinformation after get there. I didn't find any previous information about bring my own towel, thankfully they borrowed a pair. I really don't mind to do the bed, as occurred, but I do mind with cleanliness and the cabin was covered by dust. We left with the feeling that some help in the general maintenance is needed there.
