“Had a lovely stay at Windsor cottage. Well presented, great amenities and the most comfortable bed in the master bedroom. Slept like a log! Ate out in local restaurants, which were lovely especially Alberto’s Italy. There are a couple of free parking areas in town 5-10 minutes away. During our stay there was a film set in place for Father Brown and a restriction at the end of the road. It didn’t take away from our stay, but was glad of the premier inn parking just a 100m away. “Kitchen and floors were not clean at all. Food still stuck to cutlery and dirty glasses. Grubby work tops. Lots of cobwebs in the house, which is due to lack of cleaning. Bed & bathroom were clean enough. No mirrors in any of the rooms, we had to share 1 mirror in the landing between 5 girls which isn’t that great. To be honest if you’re not overly fussy or care where you stay it’s a great location and quiet village. ”

“We had a very quiet time at this pod. The facility was recently built, so it was modern, warm, and comfortable with a great view. It was great that they had a wide variety of coffee and tea, and that cooking utensils were well-equipped. I also felt that they were committed to sustainability, such as using Faith in Nature shampoo. Things to keep in mind are that it would be that there was no dishwasher or washing machine, so everything had to be washed by hand.”
