“Family run Quinta in the heart of the Douro Valley. Close to train station, but someone will pick you up there. Very homey atmosphere for breakfast and dinners made from family recipes. If we return to the area we will definitely stay here again. Friendly and accommodating.”

“Our stay at Casa do Rio was exceptional. There are 10 rooms with stunning views of the Douro River and vineyards. Our room was spotless and tastefully decorated, and we were welcomed with a plate of fresh figs and white port and all ingredients to make portonics.
The grounds are lovely with an infinity pool overlooking the river and two semi private fresh water dunking pools.
The food and was outstanding! We made our dinner selections earlier in the day and were treated to an exquisite...
