“We stayed three nights at Aldeia de Cuada in mid-October. The atmosphere and vibe of this restored old village is calm and exactly what we wanted. The valley surrounding the village is full of lush vegetation and waterfalls and was a great home base to visit Flores. For $10 Euros/morning you can start the day off with the best breakfast and go exploring. Their pool is heated, you can take old trails to surrounding villages and the must see Poço da Ribeira do Ferreiro is right around the corner....

“This place is beautiful and the views are breathtaking. It is a vineyard on the side of a mountain so getting up there is steep and not for the faint of heart. Once you arrive, there is lots of parking available. Although there is no reception and we didnt receive our checkin instructions ahead of time, we called the number and received our instructions over the phone. Youll receive your code to retrieve your physical keys from a box, then youll be able to enter the main building and 2nd key for...
