Great location - oceanfront and short walking distance to the town of Ponta Delgada The room was in good condition and clean. The decor in the room and lobby was upscale. Nice ambiance and great food in the hotel restaurants. Also the staff were friendly and very helpful. Would stay here again.

small town with a beach, marina, and a few good restaurants. It is worth visiting for a day or two. short drive to Furnas and the hot springs. The people that we met in the village are very friendly.

Downtown is charming. But don't miss Nossa Senhora de la Paz, high above the town--do that first thing in the morning for beautiful lighting and no crowds.
