“The staff are kind and friendly. They are truly very nice. The property is clean, the small qualm is that the shower can leak through the cover, which a bath towel can handle. It is spacious and a proper apartment within the hotel, as listed. But, the resort is nothing like the listing. To begin, the property is in a different municipality than described. There is no breakfast served at this hotel, and no option to purchase it. The gym is a few run down treadmills with a fan. The jacuzzi is a...

“My husband and I utterly enjoyed our stay at Atlantico grand hotel, its beautiful, everyone is super friendly, and the daily breakfast spread gave us lots of options to eat. I am very happy with our choice of hotel on this trip, my husband and I won't mind returning to the island for more exploration. We absolutely loved Sao Miguel island and to be able to stay in such a top notch hotel was a bonus for our adventure. Thank you hotel staffs for making our stay so wonderful. 😘”

“The blue penthouse was outstanding. The daily cleaning and breakfast were amazing perks. Access to the beach was a real plus. Morning adventures and afternoon by the beach made an amazing holiday. The property thinks of everything beach towels concierge services.”

“Andrea was very helpful as she allowed us to do an early check in, explained about local things to do. Breakfast was OK. Jacuzzi, pool operative but not whirlpool.”

“We had a decent stay. Did not feel like a 5 start property. Breakfast buffet was average ans stayed exactly the same for all 5 days we atayed there. Front desk staff was nice but room service and restaurant service was a hit or miss. Location is very good, central and close to nicr beaches.”

“We had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The room was clean, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast could be improved, as there is room for more variety and better options. The location is good for exploring Ponta Delgada city and its historical sites, with many attractions easily accessible. However, if you plan to explore other parts of the island, I highly recommend renting a small car,(free street parking after 8pm. The parking meter kick in 8am, so just get your parking...

“What I liked the most was the breakfast, with a variety of everything. It was one of the best breakfasts I have seen. Also, the servers in the breakfast room were very pleasant and friendly. In addition, the room rates are reasonable. Also, the hotel is centrally located.”
