“Aconcelho a todos very good place”

“This place was amazing! It’s right by the water, with the ferry literally at your doorstep. Waking up each morning was great, especially with the waterfront views of Faial. They have coffee available 24/7 and pastries in the morning, plus a few local shops nearby for food, delicious may I add! I stayed in the basement and it was great. The place was very clean, had a kitchen with plates and dishes, and I absolutely loved the terrace. Yes, you can hear the church bells since the place is...

“Overall decent stay Upside: clean, not super busy, breakfast included, on the coast Downside: about 20 min walk from the town. very inconvenient if you don’t have a car, also 10am checkout *Pictures of the terrace included”

“A beautiful and welcoming place to stay in Ponta Delgada for our honeymoon! The staff were absolutely the best - so kind and helpful. The morning breakfasts they prepared were delicious and included local fresh food! We couldn’t recommend Hostel Matriz 55 more !”
