The property was in a good location that allows access to most things within an easy 5-10minute stroll. The staff was very helpful and the amenities, specifically the gym and spa were prime. Would gladly stay again the next time I should be in the area.

Location is great for walking to restaurants and exploring the old city. Has parking for our rental car. Has pools, sauna?, hot tub? and more but I didn’t use any. Clean and comfortable room with a balcony overlooking the marina where we enjoyed some white wine chilled in little fridge, Great place to stay!

The Turkish Bath and on site masseuse was most appreciated. Nutritious breakfast was a great start for the day, provided with the stay! Lots of swimming options like the indoor and outdoor pool and mega public pool and ocean swimming area, surrounded by restaurants and shops and sports bars, across the street. All amenities are a short walk away. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful!

The hotel was in a great location, and the breakfast was delicious with plenty of choices. We ordered fried eggs instead of the pre-made scrambled eggs, which was a nice option. The property could use a bit of a facelift, but it was still very clean and well maintained. Overall, everything was wonderful.

The Hotel Marina Atlantico had great views of the harbor, and easy access off the main road along the harbour if you are renting a car. The hotel has an underground parkade available at an additional cost that is easy to access as well. The staff were very friendly, and helpful, with a concierge around to help as well. The rooms are well maintained and clean.

Our check in was quick and flawless. Maria checked us in and went above and beyond with her helpful suggestions on where to eat and sightseeing tips. She also was able to procure us rooms at our requested types, she got us breakfast boxes since we had early flight and would miss the breakfast times, so we were very grateful for her assistance.

This is my favorite hotel to stay at when visiting Ponta Delgada. The location is perfect, as not only does it have an ocean/port view, but it is walkable to restaurants, shops, and historical sites. The staff are friendly and professional; and they speak English, which is helpful. The air-conditioned rooms are clean and spacious. There is an indoor and outdoor pool, sauna, and other amenities. You don't have to go far to eat breakfast, as it is located in the dining room on the main floor with a view of the port/ocean. There is a wide selection of fresh food and beverages, and it all tastes good. There is parking on site for a nominal fee, which allows you to go in and out as often as you would like, or just keep your car in the garage while you walk around the city. Thank you to the staff for making my stay in Ponta Delgada comfortable.

The lobby, restaurant, gym and pool/spa areas are all clean and very nice. But, the rooms and the hallways have OLD, dirty carpet, old wood paneling on the walls and the furniture and bathrooms in the rooms are not in good shape. They are old and not kept up - leaky shower because the seal is old and dingy, wood furniture has scratches and nicks. We did enjoy the balcony furniture. The location is good for exploring the waterfront and the city, but you are right on a busy street so it is not pleasant to sit outside at the restaurant or the pool. Not my favorite. We will find a different hotel next time we visit Ponta Delgada.

Our stay at Hotel Marina Atlântico was absolutely perfect! We stayed in a suite with a beautiful ocean view, and it exceeded our expectations. The hotel is ideally located, making it easy to explore Ponta Delgada on foot. The breakfast buffet offered a great variety of fresh and delicious options every morning. We also really enjoyed the indoor and outdoor pools, as well as the jacuzzi and sauna, which were perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Everything about our stay was excellent. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend Hotel Marina Atlântico to anyone visiting São Miguel!

Front desk staff were not very friendly or helpful however restaurant staff were outstanding. Breaking buffet was excellent. Room was satisfactory however shower doors are extremely poorly designed. Our biggest issue was that there wasn’t adequate parking available for hotel guests (two lots and yet they were full), we were 10th on the list and told it would likely be days before anything opened up. Front desk staff were really indifferent when they told us that we should find parking on the street. It was a horrible experience, so much so that we returned our rental car because it was so stressful. We weren’t even there during high season!

Wonderful location on the Ponta Delgada waterfront, with a small balcony. Our room was immaculate and spacious. Bathroom was very good. The parking situation has some problems. There is parking in a garage under the hotel for a reasonable fee, but only the upper level is connected by elevator to the hotel. The lower level has a separate entrance and difficult foot access. Parking spaces on both levels are too narrow.
