“Mosteiros Place is a peaceful property that is beautifully designed and architected. We stayed in Apartment 6 which had a stunning view for sunset hour. The floor to ceiling windows are quite jaw dropping. The apartment is large, though the kitchen is modest if you plan to prepare any of your own food. We were surprised the property is staffed from morning until night which allows you to order food and drink if you prefer to stay in. There are plenty of indoor and outdoor common seating areas...

“Fantastic staff!! Absolutely the best! Super helpful and friendly - and further bolstered by Mr Host, the house cat.!. He’s very handsome and friendly! We arrived late and the receptionist stayed 30 min late to help us find the hotel and also the parking garage. The location is great - everywhere in the city is walkable. The room was quiet, clean and large! We had a fantastic 3-night stay. ”

“What a great spot if you want quiet and tranquility, the view was spectacular. Went for a nice walk in the morning along the bluff not a place to go if you do not have a car or don’t bring groceries with you. It’s a bit far out that is what I loved about it. ”

“The Whales Bay hotel is highly recommended. The place was very nice and clean. We enjoyed swimming in the pool and even got into the jacuzzi for a few minutes. The location is nice also as it is out in a quieter area but still only about 25 minutes t Ponta Delgada. The only thing missing was a nice breakfast.”
