"Beautiful views of surroundings including stunning sea view from the outdoor area. Great nearby hiking and running conditions. However, the apartments and other facilities need to be refurbished. The lack of air condition (only a fan in the kitchen ceiling - nothing in the sleeping room) severely affected sleep and general wellbeing. A leaky toilette generating constant noise. The outdoor pool looks great at the pictures but was not fresh, the water was not clear and the only shower did not...

"It was like to be inside the fridge,no heating at all no good to stay this time of the year. We got quickly fixed with hot water and extra duvets otherwise is impossible to sleep gets very cold night time late march and early April."

"Die Lage der Unterkunft ist echt super. Bei den Garden View Zimmern hat man einen schönen Ausblick auf den Park und dahinter das Meer. Der Supermarkt und Bäcker ist sehr nah, genauso wie der Park und Strand. Zum Zentrum muss man ein paar Minuten gehen. Mit den Wohnungen kann man mal mehr mal weniger Glück haben was die Mängel anbelangt. Wir konnten unser Bidet nicht nutzen weil es undicht war. "Really enjoyed our stay at the Ultonia. Excellent location for the Cathedral and Old Town area of Girona. Quick and easy from the bus and train station. Rooftop bar was fantastic, great cocktails and excellent views. All staff were super friendly and accommodating- helping us to get a taxi to the airport very quickly! "

"The hotel was built in 1902 and was pristinely maintained-it was like walking into history. The lovely garden and fountain, pool and outdoor patio were beautiful. It was a pleasure to stay in such a lovely hotel. The staff went above and beyond and were very kind. The breakfast buffet was excellent. I will be back-it was wonderful!! "

Transit passes would be cheaper- we didn’t have time to learn where to purchase one, so just paid cash. Don’t be alarmed by graffiti on area buildings (some people may worry it’s not a nice or safe area). My family felt safe and there were lots of people walking and socializing. Dog park can be a little noisy at times with barking dogs. Overall, I would highly recommend this property. "
