“This is a unique property. The room was very spacious with a wonderful view of the bay. It seemed that there had been a remodeling. Where there had once been a refrigerator and microwave were now empty spaces and a locked courtesy refrigerator was installed instead. Despite the faact that the property was on the edge of the bay there were train tracks tucked bewtween the hotel and the bay pier. According to my wife the train passed every hour during the night. “The beachfront location is second to none! The food was way below average and room itself needed some upgrading. The blinds didn’t work in our room and the shower was in need of repair. The water pressure was horrible. However, the staff were all very friendly and helpful. It truly is a beautiful location. The fire pits located along the beach were quite lovely to sit around at night.”

“This is a throw-back to the days of the good old motor lodge. A tiki bar bar, for starters but a tiki bar with good local beer. A wonderful shaded pool area. Light switches that are self-evident and don't require an engineering degree to figure out. Instructions to housekeeping that are followed. You know what I am talking about. The one downside? The patio doors/balconies all face the setting sun, which leads to three hours a night of intense sunlight and heat in a non-air conditioned...

“We stayed at Earthbox Inn and Spa for 2 nights in July. The room was clean and was on the top floors, so we also had a nice little patio with partial views. The check-in process was smooth, the staff helped hold our bags till we could check in.
