“Perfect for my needs, hotel a little tired but dwoukdnt stop my booking again. Breakfast was superb and staff were super friendly and helpful.”

“We stayed at the white bull for 2 nights while attending a wedding locally. Staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. We had room 6 which was large with a king size bed, very comfortable, the room was largewith a large bathroom. Complementary tea, coffee nespresso machine , hot chocolate, biscuits and still and sparkling water were available in the room. Plenty of storage drawers and wardrobe. Also 2 chairs. The windows were a little tired looking but all furnishings were obviously fairly new...

“A good alternative to staying in Halifax for us while visiting family. Clean and comfy room with a modern feel and easy contact-free checkin/out. Has parking, but we were car free so used local taxis for the most part to/from Sowerby Bridge centre (£10 each way) and also walked a few times (be aware, quite a steep but enjoyable climb, takes around 25 mins). Nice quiet surroundings and good views over the Calderdale valley. Although no on-site amenities now (shop/cafe/restaurant/bar) we...

“Really nice reception staff and made us feel welcome and was really nice to us as we stayed there because my daughter had an operation and needed to rest after and they made sure we had everything we needed and one of them even offered to fill her hot water bottle for her stomach. So thank u. The rooms are small but u dont need much when it's just for a rest spot for a few days. Thanks again to the staff and making sure my daughter had everything she needed. Much appreciated.”

“Friendly staffs”

“Solo trip with the dog. Very friendly easy check in and cute accommodation in an old stable yard. When I was shown the room the main light didn't work but I said it didn't matter as the bedside and bathroom lights were fine. Very convenient with the dog to nip out for a quick pee rather than walking through a hotel. Car park small but parked ok and felt safe. I left early for and no one was around yo check out so ended up leaving door unlocked and key inside. Good value for money.”
