Checked in to my hotel to find that there was left over food in the microwave from the previous stay. Also only had 1 towel in my bathroom, so I had to go & ask for an extra towel for the wife. Overall, price is good if your on a budget and plan to only stay for a night.

The room was good for our purpose. The price was reasonable.
The motel had a neat configuration of two rooms with a bathroom in the middle.
Window coverings, shower curtains need replacement, needs maintenance in general. The towel holder had been relocated without paint re-touch.

We have stayed at the Royal Gateway many times. The staff is very friendly and accomodating. This last particular time we had reserved a kitchenette months ago. When we arrived we were given the wrong room. Even though our reservations said kitchenette, theirs did not. This was not an Expedia error, it was and OYO error. They claimed they had no vacancy, but it did not seem the rooms were full any of the nights we were there. :(
