Disappointing old wing room

We were allotted room in old wing which was smelly. Cigarette smell was prevalent although we choose non-smoking room. Breakfast has limited choice but it was tasty.

Hotel was easily accessible, within walking distance from Trinity metro station. Room and common areas were clean, albeit showing clear signs of wear and tear. A nice, comfortable boutique hotel

Overall, very happy with my stay. Great breakfasts, pleasant rooms. Very polite and accommodating staff. Beautiful pool was closed due to Bangalore water restrictions (I was warned when I made my reservation). Will definitely stay again, especially since the other hotels on MG Road are at least double the price.

Three star hotel

Very basic hotel. Room had a smell & dirty especially the rug on the floor & was very small including bathroom with very poor quality toiletries. This is not more than 3 star property. However breakfast was enjoyable

PLEASANT STAY

HOTEL IS LOCATED IN VERY GOOD POSITION ON MG ROAD NEXT TO THE TAJ AND OBEROI HOTELS. THE STAFF ARE EXTREMELY HELPFUL. I NEEDED TO COURIER A PARCEL AND ROSHINI AND FELIX WHO I THINK WAS THE DUTY MANAGER BOTH HELPED ME GREATLY. OUR FLOOR MANAGER ON THE SECOND FLOOR SANDIP INSURED THAT OUR ROOMS WERE CLEANED DAILY AND ALL SUPPLIES WERE TOPPED UP. THE HOTEL HAS ALL THE FEATURES THAT A FIVE-STAR HOTEL WOULD HAVE BUT UNFORTUNATELY THIS IS AN OLD PROPERTY WITH OLD FURNITURE AND CLEANLINESS IS NOT UP TO INTERNATIONAL FIVE-STAR STANDARDS. THIS REALLY IS A 4 STAR HOTEL OR AN 'INDIAN FIVE STAR HOTEL'.

OK STAY AT THE PARK

Hotel is located in excellent position on MG road next to the Taj and the Oberoi hotels. All staff were very polite courteous and helpful at all times. I needed a courier to send a small parcel and Rohini in reception together with the manager Felix very helpful with this issue. Our second floor housekeeping manager Sandip was present every morning and ensured that our room was cleaned daily and assisted with any needs. The hotel has all the features that a 5 star hotel would have but unfortunately this is an old property with dated furniture and looks and is really an international 4star hotel or an 'Indian' 5 star hotel. The hotel needs to be refurbished in a major way for it to be called a 5star hotel.

The hotel is clearly showing its age. All the way from the elevators to the room and bathrooms. Every thing looks old. Not something I expected from a 5 star hotel. The positive is that the staff were excellent

When i enter the room found, that the i am unable to lock the door from inside, when i called the service desk they said engineering team to check & after sometimes the y replaced the whole locking system. after that when i went to sleep i found many long hairs are fallen inside the room, then again i immediately i raised the complaint with the duty manager then, they replace the room after that my complain. I am requesting the Staff to check and do fix all the problem & try to get effort where Guest should not get any complaint & his stay get complete without any complaint. Overall Breakfast i enjoyed...thank you!

The property location is good, but the hotel condition is not good. The interior is very backdated and the upkeep of the place was very bad. The room was giving not such a clean feeling. I had only one night stay and the room given was stinking of smoke smell, even though I asked them to give me a non-smoking room. Second room they gave me as a suite and I thought I will just get to take a bath and sleep, but the room was above the bar and the Disco space on the ground floor. This bathroom was vibrating due to the music played on the ground floor and I had to beg the staff to change the room or I would have shifted to another hotel. I had a very busy day and wanted a clean room to sleep and relax, but finally they gave me one of the newly renovated rooms which was better but really had very mis-matched interior. Also I noticed in all the bathrooms, the WC and the posts were not clean at all. The feeling of clean was not felt. Only saving grace was the staff who were apologetic and gave me a new room to relax as I had only one night stay. Overall I am clear that this is not a well maintained hotel that I can stay again for my business trip again.
