"Very serene location at a lower point on the lake, but with enough to do so you don't get bored. Only negative is if you don't have a boat, it is a 10-minute drive just to get back to the main roads, and then at least another 10 minute drive to any local attractions/restaurants."

"It had an amazing view! The only downside was there wasn't really a great way to get into the lake. They had a small area that you could walk into the lake but once you get about a foot in, they have a bunch of rocks blocking and making it a little unsafe to get in. There are several of these cascading waterfalls that separate the pools near the spring, creating great places to catch rainbow trout. Bennett Springs, MO is a great place to spend a weekend any time of the year! There are many great trails to hike, the Niangua river is just down the road for floating, the cabins have been recently udpated and are reasonably priced, the trout fishing is great, and if you're a SCUBA diver you can even register to dive the spring on weekends over the winter. #Nature #Trovember
