"We were a little disappointed on check in to be told we were not staying in the main hotel building but in an apartment block further up the street. We guessed this was because we were a party of three. It was a little odd as we had not read or been informed via Expedia this could be the case. Upon entering the apartment we could quickly see that the apartment was huge, tastefully decorated and well thought out. It just meant we had to walk back up the street for breakfast each morning, which was so worthwhile as it was very tasty with plenty of choice. It was a shame we didn’t use the main site’s facilities such as pool and indoor spa which would have been a bit of a faff but it was still all available to us. If you’re a couple I’m sure the rooms within the hotel are lovely. The town is picturesque and we really enjoyed our stay. Trips to the Eagles Nest and Kongissee lake are a must."

"Great location. Very good and extensive breakfast. Fresh fruit, various juices and great coffee options. Great Bavarian restaurant with beergarden next door. Our rooms had balconies and we saw mountain tops. Friendly staff and very clean and comfortable rooms."

"I can’t say enough about this amazing little hotel right on the beautiful lake. Perfect location, incredible staff and delicious food. Extremely accommodating and a big thank you to Receptionist Alex, who was extremely kind, patient and helpful with our stay and plans. The beds were so comfortable and the big modern bathroom was excellent. Parking was not an issue and the breakfast was wonderful. The boat is something you should not miss and the highlight of our stay, hiking lake Obersee. Do not let the complaints about no elevator hold you back if you don’t mind some stairs. Perfect location for the boat and area. I’m so glad we did two nights, we would have done 3 if able. I hope to be back soon! Do not pass this gem."
