Property was clean and well situated in the city. I recommend booking a balcony room overlooking the park. Beautiful views. Pool is shown as an amenity, but there is a charge to use. This seems excessive considering the daily room price.
Great breakfast.
Great location.
Only less than excellent comment was our queen room was quite small. Some extra room on our balcony which had a great view.
I stayed 3 nights and I have a mixed feeling. First, the location is great and the stuffs were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good with a lot of choice. The bar was nice with DJ and good food selection. However, despite the price, the room was shockingly small, actually struggling to open our suit case. The bathroom was not properly cleaned with minimum amenities. There was not enough hanging space, no slippers, no bathrobes, no "do not disturb card, not enough toilet papers nor tissues. Had to order online which was not very user friendly. There was no view except an office building. The door and the card key were not working properly so needed to go back the reception a few times.
Air conditioning didn’t seem to work so we had window open but it was loud outside

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
the location is great and it surrounds good restaurants and shopping, it's closed to the city center and to the train station. Airport is about $50-60 Uber ride. The rooms is very small you can hardly turning around. The rooms feels very industrial hard and cold.
A lovely, large, modern hotel in central Bergen. I loved the room, a really nice layout and a view over Lille Lungegårdsvannet and beyond to the Fløyen Panorama and funicular. Close to lots of nice restaurants, shops, convenience stores and so on. It was a short walk from the tram/light rail stop from the airport.
Very helpful and friendly staff and a nice feeling of quiet luxuriousness.
Great hotel in a perfect central location. It’s within walking distance of the Fish Market, Bryggen, shopping centers, restaurants, and many of Bergen’s main attractions. The room was comfortable, and the staff was friendly and welcoming.
The pool is not part of the hotel and is an extra??? The photos online suggest this is a hotel amenity. But otherwise…
Good location. I didn’t find it loud as others have written. The standard room was very small for two adults and the layout wasn’t ideal for two suitcases.
Our flight was cancelled, we arrived the next day and even though we had sent someone early in the morning to let staff know we were arriving later, when we got there we were told that our PRE-PAID room was given. I would have expected at least a phone call before this happening. We had to stay in another room and move to the room we had booked the following day, with two kids. We were not offered anything for this.
When we finally had a room (on the first day) at 10:00pm (!) (we had to wait for them to find us something since 7:00pm when we got there) the kids' bed was not even made! We had to call reception and wait for someone to come.
There was also a hospitality strike and breakfast was poor, not even eggs. No warning about this either even though our breakfast was prepaid as well.
The breakfast was very disappointing. The strike by hotel and restaurant workers had an obvious impact on the breakfast experience;though we only found out on arrival, when at reception we were told that no hot food would be on offer. This was a major problem for my wife who has significant blood-sugar problems. The choice of low sugar foods was woeful with only two choices of fruit, both not classed as low sugar. The choice of cereals and pastries did not compensate for the lack low sugar staples such as egg, beans and bacon. There was no sign of any diabetic food nor any labelling of sugar content on what was available.
The room was not serviced for the week we were there but fresh towel were provided on request.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
At no time were we offered any form of compensation for the inconvenience and significant reduction in the level of service we had expected from this status of hotel.
( I assume an expected reduction in the cost to Expedia will be passed on to us.)

Unfortunately a strike was on at the hotels in Norway. Remains Staff did a wonderful job to keep the hotel operating a reduced capability. Breakfast offering greatly reduced with only very small reduction in cost. No room cleaning during our stay but no reduction in room rates. Again great job by staff but hotel could have more appropriately reduced costs to customers based upon reduced offering
Well located , plenty of bathroom counter space
The hotel was on strike while we were there so no hot breakfast but no reduced price which was disappointing.
