This hotel is quite roomy and comfortable and very warm in the winter. The breakfast was a pleasant surprise with a good variety, especially the fresh fruit and salmon. The downside is no fridge or tea and coffee making facilities in the room. The manager happily did laundry for us which we really appreciated. We walked from the train (easy enough downhill) but learned afterwards that a bus meets the train, so look out for it!

Perfectly Splendid.

Had a lovely weekend stay at the hotel. The rooms are adequately sized with the whole "chalet vibe" and a view of the snow covered mountains through the balcony (don't forget to ask for the mountain facing rooms) ! More than enough storage space and decently done bathrooms. The hosts are very pleasant and happy to share local tips. My only gripe is that the breakfast could be better value (but I still suggest to take it, since there aren't really any other options around)

We spent only one night to visit the Filisur bridge, we had dinner at their restaurant amd the staff was super friendly and helpful. The heater could be a bit lower, it was suuper hot during the night and there was no switch to control it. We came late March and the neighbourhood was super quiet, no other restaurants. If you prefer to save up is better to bring food. The coop market is just below, you can also stock up there.

Nice hotel, simpele but good. Short distance to the station. Bus stop before the hotel (free with include guest card. The breakfast was not include and costs 18 SFR per person. If you wish to use the simpele hot tub. Check that is is actually warm. Ours was 30 C.

I made a booking in Nov for a night in Jan for 3 people, the hotel didn't charge me right away, but all of a sudden at the end of Dec, with a different company name. The amount they charged me wasn't what was listed neither (CHF 15 higher), so I had no way to recognise the transaction. After crosschecking everywhere, even chatted with an agent on Expedia, I thought my card info was stolen, and so I had reported it to my bank, cancelled the card and tried to get a refund. Only to find out later, it was the hotel, but they didn’t even contact me. When I made my booking, I had also added the breakfast option, but when I checked in, they told me no breakfast included and asked if I wanted to pay extra…after insisting firmly that the price I paid was including breakfast, hotel finally took a look at the system and confirmed that I was right…. Conclusion: I had to pay extra CHF 20 for my new card, then had to pay CHF 275 AGAIN at arrival (instead of CHF 260 as mentioned on expedia), I was asked to pay for breakfast for 3 people AGAIN at arrival, and now one month after my stay, I still haven’t received the refund of the first CHF 275 that I thought it was a fraud…

Julia et Pierre ont ete des hotes parfaits pour mon sejour de trois nuits dans cet hotel neuf. Acommodement pour delicieux petit dejeuner. Grande chambre d'une proprete impeccable. Machine a cafe. Restaurant et epicerie au rez-de chausse. Distance de marche de la gare. Sejour tres apprecie surement le meilleur de mon voyage de deux semaines en Suisse. Pierre m'a donne une foule de renseignements uitles. J'y retournerai surement.

Nice but the owner isn't

Would be a simple but good place to stay. However, the owner is very unfriendly, complicated and grim. He absolutely does not care about his guests. The restaurant downstairs, which also serves breakfast, is very nice however. Good food and a very nice and funny owner.

Gutes Hotel in Filisur

Gutes Hotel um von hier aus die Sehenswürdigkeiten der Region zu besuchen. Landwasserviadukt in paar Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar. Ab Bahnhof Filisur bis Davos, etc. Hotel ist sauber, eher aber bündnerisch rustikal eingerichtet. Vermisst haben wir nur den Kühlschrank auf dem Zimmer. Gute Parkmöglichkeiten

Fine (you get what you pay for in St Moritz)

For the money in St Moritz centre you can’t really complain - staff perfectly nice, breakfast perfectly adequate and I might even stay there again if I ever just needed to get my head down with no frills. It’s just very, very worn and dark and bedding is clean but worn and unattractive fabric etc. Bit of an odd set up where sharing a bathroom means a couple sinks per 2 rooms in a semi-private open area right outside both room doors. Shower and toilet in separate cubicles immediately off that area. Which means you can’t actually even brush your teeth or wash your face without potentially being interrupted by someone. I don't mind shared bathrooms but you can usually close the door on yourself for privacy. And No soundproofing at all so very loud if anyone moves around and uses shared facilities in the night. You get what you pay for in some respects but I mean seriously it costs nothing these days for someone to get down to IKEA and get some basic sheets so....hard to give a completely glowing report, especially when even youth hostels have gotten their act together on the basics these days.

Cet hôtel, magnifiquement situé au coeur d’une région comptant, à notre avis, parmi les plus beaux villages typiques des Grisons, avec de belles ballades à disposition et à proximité de Davos, bénéficie d’un accueil vraiment très chaleureux et professionnel. Chambre très confortable. Petit déjeuner très bien servi. A recommander.
