Wonderful hotel, room was really big and bed very comfortable and lots of lovely Rituals toiletries in the bathroom. We had a bottle of fizz and cake left in the room to celebrate my husbands birthday. The staff were very polite and helpful. The buffet breakfast was great and set you up for the day. We had dinner in Beef 45 in the hotel and that was amazing too. I would definitely stay again as its near lots of transport hubs to get around the city.

Room wasn’t as clean as I’d have liked - hairs in the shower and sink on arrival. I stayed in one of the old rooms (not the newly renovated ones) so the decor was dated but acceptable. The hotel has major renovations work going on so the hallways are dusty and the construction noise is very loud. You have to pay an extra EUR 15 per person per day to use the sauna. Security guard assisted me with a sticky door then accessed my personal details (I didn’t give these) and added me on Facebook. Lobby smells strongly of cigarette smoke due to smoking room at the front of the hotel. Breakfast was EUR 39.50 for one person per day which is one of the most expensive I’ve seen globally. Bed was comfortable and proximity to local transport was great.

Great place to stay - right beside Berlin zoo. Good food, staff are very helpful. Rooms comfy and their House Of Gin is definitely worth a look. The hotel sots between Wittenbergplatz and Zoo Stations so great hub to get about the city from. Recommended
