"Staff really stood out! They were lovely and helpful. I messaged to say we were arriving before check-in so would there be anywhere we could get changed/leave our bags so they did our room first to ensure we could get in it on arrival! Breakfast was tasty with actually nice vegan bacon and the room was incredible with a gorgeous bath!"

"Having an attached 24hr cafe, was great if you couldn't get back from days out until late. Staff were zuper friendly, and did their jobs well. Food was very good value, fresh and well presented."

"We had a lovely stay at The Hog’s Head Inn. The room was really comfortable and, most importantly, actually spacious enough for a family of five! 😂 All of the staff were really friendly and welcoming, and the food was great too. A brilliant option for families and we’d definitely stay again."

"We stayed one Saturday night in early August. A nice welcoming hotel with ample parking. We had a premier room which was very comfortable, quiet, and had pleasant views over the gardens. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and reminded us that everything in the minibar was complimentary! As we’d eaten prior to arriving, the snacks and drinks - both alcoholic and soft were just enough to keep us satisfied until our good night’s sleep. Breakfast in the morning was plentiful and served in the hotel’s restaurant. This was a good choice for an overnight stay, especially in a premier room."

"Our room was clean but the room was very dark with just a small window at one end overlooking a yard. Staff were all very helpful & breakfast was good. We didn’t feel there was a lot of choice on menu for evening meal"

"The room was dusty, staircase leading to the pool had cobwebs and many dead insects on them. The shower in the pool area used after swimming was mouldy along the bottom of the shower tray at the front. The food in the restaurant was very good, however it would be of benefit to customers who want to book the restaurant if the hotel explained before booking that you can choose food from both of the available menus."
