“I don’t know anything about the property. I booked the place by mistake via Expedia, and neither the hotel nor Expedia offered any financial relief. It cost 3 days/nights. Instead of the hotel trying to track me down, it was simpler to just register me as a no show and charge for 3 nights.”

“We had a lovely four nights here in this older but charming hotel. Clean and comfortable rooms with a Juliette balcony to relax on. Breakfast on offer was lovely and we enjoyed the evening meals… delicious! Right across from the ferry to Tavira Island it was a perfect spot.”

“Staff were very good, welcoming and responsive. The hotel is older and run down, but clean. Its location right at central access to the beach is perfect. Breakfast is simple and uninspired but sufficient. Firm, comfortable bed, a/c and fan and a small balcony. Easy to take bus out front to the airport or to Faro and many good restaurants close by.”

“Staff were mostly very helpful apart from one of the male reception managers who was rude and dismissive. Housekeeping was generally very good , didn't always replenish toiletries or wash crockery in the room pool area ok not attractive and overlooking the road. It isn’t really a 5 star hotel 4 star at best. Breakfast was good but in a room which was hot and stuffy next to the car park. No where outside to eat breakfast. Definitely upgrade to a sea view room otherwise you are looking at a block...

“Clean room ”

“Kitchen not well equipped for cooking, just warming up or cooking eggs, very few utensils and no oven. Cleaning staff friendly but not English speaking. Although Expedia stated that a hair drier available on request, we requested one and were told by the reception person that it was not available! Really disappointing, but parking very easy and location ok to walk to oldtown/ center town, although not always through sidewalks, watch the traffic and walk fast. ”

“We rented a one bedroom apartment. It had everything we needed for the week we were there. The staff was very helpful, the atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable. We will definitely come back.”
