This property is located at the end of an area of small businesses, most of which were not open while we were there. No staff was on location during the night, which always makes us a bit uncomfortable. It was quiet, clean, and modern, but we were only there for one night. The parking was free and we did not have breakfast, so we have no complaints. We would stay there again.

Good stopover

Always use this hotel as our first stop en route to Portugal from the UK. Once you have your booking ref the auto check in is painless. Breakfast is pretty good also. Nice French bar along the street that does good beers/wine/cheeses/meats called V and B.

Excellent no nonsense hotel

An excellent no nonsense hotel. Modern and comfortable. Decent breakfast. Slight issue with checking in/getting in to the hotel arriving at 10pm as there was no-one there, but this was resolved reasonably quickly (15 minutes) by rining the help desk.

Not really pet friendly, just tolerant

Stayed here a few times on our way to Portugal with our two dogs. Usually fine but I think the new manager isn’t too keen on dogs has he banned them from sitting with us during breakfast. Shame because it’s been fine before. So not really pet friendly just pet tolerant.

Stuck Outside in the cold

I could not get into the hotel, as I didn't have a booking number, I only have the hotels.com itinerary number, no other information had been provided to me. It says 24/7 reception, but the hotel was all closed up and I could not get inside. I arrived around 10PM, it was dark and hard to find. It is conveniently located right next to the airport, but unfortunately it took me a long time to get in. I eventually got through to someone based elsewhere via an intercom and they also said you cannot come inside without the correct booking number (which hadn't been provided to me by Hotels.com). Eventually they gave me a code to get inside, you also need this code for your room. So if you are booking - make sure you get that code before you arrive. It is not the hotels.com itinerary number. Otherwise all was ok once I finally got inside.
