Convenient stop off.

The location is good for a stop off as it is very close to the motorway. Our room was large and the bed was very comfortable.

Very welcoming

The owners were very welcoming, despite me arriving at midnight! The place was lovely, despite me making a mistake with booking a place that really wasn't very near where my wedding was, but that was my fault, not theres.

Overall the stay was excellent. It was clean and well appointed. The staff were very friendly and the food was excellent

Home from Home

Because of the Edinburgh Marathon, there was not a single room to be had in Edinburgh underr £300.00, so this was the nearest we found on our way there and all we can say is that it was a lucky find: very welcoming and attentive hosts, lovely views over the hills, comfortable room and bed and sparkling new bathroom. The breakfast was a treat with a lot of homemade dishes and jams. Would recommend very highly.

A Perfect Country House.

We were looking for a nice B&B in a small town and this place was PERFECT! Verena and Graham are incredibly welcoming, the house is amazing and lovely, and the food was absolutely the best. I cannot recommend this B&B more highly. I think people should travel to Crawford, Scotland, just to stay at the Holmlands Country House! It was the nicest stay of our entire month-long trip. Thank you!

Good food, comfortable beds, welcoming and hospitable owners, excellent plumbing (can often spoil an otherwise acceptable stay!), good TV, convenient location, adequate heating on a very cold night.
