“A wonderful hotel - the junior suite was beautiful with an amazing view of the Minster. The shower was amazing. Even little details like the local products in the Tuck Box, the coffee bags were so good Im going to buy some now. Would 100% recommend.”

“A 5 minutes walk from the Shambles makes this hotel a quiet haven away from the usual York crowds. The downside is it's a little further to walk from the railway station (20 minutes) but you can use the bus to make that journey The staff are super friendly and helpful. “The rooms were comfortable and very clean. Lovely to have a fridge in yhe room. Staff were very helpful & friendly. A lovely one night stay whilst attending a wedding party. £5 parking fee, not excessive but no mention about this when booking. Might as well just add £5 to the room rate and not have those unsightly signs everywhere. ”

“The views from the bar and restaurant were amazing. The only downside was the layout of the room,we were told it was deluxe suite but it was small,television was not facing us, it was on the side and the plughole in the sink was not very good and water did not go down very quickly. Overall the hotel was fab,especially staff were really nice especially in the restaurant. ”
