People name this mountain Dua Saudara because there are two mountains next to each other. Not far from these mountains there is Mount Klabat, the highest mountain in Minahasa Peninsula of North Sulawesi. This area is protected by government to provide home for wild animals that only can be found in Sulawesi, such as Tarsiers, Macacas Nigra, and others. The famous wildlife area is Tangkoko nature and wildlife reserve. It attracts volunteers from around the world to help locals protect and study these unique animals, such as documenting, providing medicines, campaigns and taking care of these unique animals.
