“I loved how peaceful my stay was. The staff was friendly and always available. The only downside was the hot water not working day of check out”

“Overall incredible, great location. Spotty wi-fi was only imperfection.”

“What an amazing stay from start to finish. The owners, Eric & Sharon were very hospitable and welcoming. Sharon suggested a few places for us to visit and they all ended up being highlights of our trip. The property is gorgeous, secure, very clean, and very comfortable. Every day started with coffee delivered to your room, and the staff prepares an AMAZING vegetarian breakfast from scratch. I am very particular about my food and I rarely eat the breakfast that is included with hotel stays, but...

“Nos encantó el lugar, ideal para familias grandes, cerca de Puerto Viejo. Cuenta con piscina y parrilla y aire acondicionado, la cocina bien equipada, es seguro.”

“Beautiful cozy place , great staff I will back very soon”

“Decent stay.”

“Excelente servicio Todo el Staff excelente Barny excelente anfitrión”

“The property was beautiful and clean, the staff was lovely and incredibly helpful, and the breakfast was amazing! Having only one coffee in the room for the 4 mornings (i.e. not replaced each day) was disappointing, but forced us to go out for a local coffee instead. Having small/snack items for late arrivals and/or while the bar is open would be a great idea.”

“Zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Zeer uitgebreid ontbijt, zeer ruime kamer. Voldoende parkeergelegenheid. Het zwembad is niet heel groot en er zijn niet veel ligbedden. De ligging is aan de rand van Puerto Viejo maar fietsverhuur en restaurants nog steeds op loopafstand.”

“Angelo was so helpful with after hours check in. This place is adorable. The room had a kitchen and that is a great addition if you are staying longer than a night. The pool was nice and refreshing. There is an outdoor sitting space outside your room that is nice as well.”

“I can’t say enough about the property and the staff. We stayed in the Caribbean breeze cabin for 6 nights and it was an amazing experience. You are about 7 minutes from town in a beautifully manicured area which the staff takes care of all day long. The property is tucked just into the jungle off the beach so you get the best of both worlds. This is a place that will always hold a special place in our hearts and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable experience.”

“Increíble lugar para pasar en Playa negra se ven los mejores amaneceres en Costa Rica a 10 min del La bonita caminando ,hay café y todo es muy verde”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Absolutely Wonderful Experience at Agapi! 🌴❤️ What an incredible experience staying at Agapi in Puerto Viejo, Costa Rica! I absolutely loved every moment of my stay and couldn’t have asked for a better place to enjoy the beautiful Caribbean coast. Agapi has such a lovely, peaceful and welcoming atmosphere. It was the perfect place to relax, explore the surrounding nature, enjoy the stunning beaches and experience the magical Caribbean lifestyle. As a solo female traveller who has...

“Excelente lugar muy completo”

“Staff was great, casitas were cute, pool was nice. The rooms however are not very sound proof. Other noisy guests there in the pool or nearby rooms can be heard very well. You can hear TV and other noises in the next casita. ”

“Buena ubicación”

“I put this off but it needs to be done. I booked this home because it was the nicest/cleanest in the area. It is a beautiful home, clean, spacious, a private pool and very comfortable accommodations. On the down side, unfortunately, there is a lot. 1st location, it is secluded not in a good way. I traveled for 3 weeks all over CR and this is the only place I felt uncomfortable and borderline unsafe. Clearly the Caribbean side is not for me. I found the surrounding areas to be much dirtier than...

“We loved the Villas Andes so much. We stayed in Section F in Villa Caiman with a Garden View. The location was perfect for us and the accommodations likewise. The villa was much bigger than expected and we loved having a full kitchen which we used. There is a Supermercado close by and we shopped for our stay. The way the Villas are situated when you are staying in them, you feel like nowhere else exists. You are in a jungle paradise. We loved the section we stayed in because the pool and outdoor...
