“Nice place to stay with a family, nice pool and comfortable is not luxurious accomodations. Restaurant was decent too.”

“Beautiful and peaceful place to rest. This place was so fun to visit with great walking paths with pooch Magnolia escorting us along the way and meeting the cows were a special treat. We even saw the Howler Monkeys in the trees by the river. Host Dominic was interesting to talk with especially telling us the history of the family farm.”

“The hotel was pretty modern and new. The double suite was very large and beautiful. It was a pretty quiet, family business and the staff was so nice and accommodating. It felt like staying with family. The food was delicious as well. The area is pretty isolated, but a short cab ride can take you to town for groceries and restaurants. Super refreshing and pretty pool, and the beds were SO comfortable. ”

“Calico Jacks is a bit outside San Ignacio so you definitely need a vehicle but the room was really cleaned and comfortable. I stayed for only one night so I haven’t used the pool or tried the zipline but the food at the restaurant onsite and the staff were amazing. Julio was my server and my guide the morning after to visit Barton Creek’s caves and he made sure I had a wonderful time.”

The care of the grounds is impressive. The room attendants provide extra touches and sparkling clean rooms Of course the whole operation runs flawlessly with Benoni in charge. He is a superb host ”

“When I made the reservation I thought we were at the main lodge and not at the camp. Of course the property is beautiful Accommodations were nice beds very comfortable , staff and was great but having to get up to walk to the bathroom was not fun for me so in the future when I book I will be making sure I’m at the main lodge. I think the camp is great for backpackers and those on a budget. ”

“Just came back from a 3 night stay and what a perfect place it was to end our week in Belize. The grounds are beautiful, the staff accommodating, and fresh coffee waiting for you in the morning. We saw toucans, monkeys, agoutis and some other animals on the property. Speaking of- our favorite staff member- Mama (orange cat) was very welcoming and enjoyed spending much of her time with us. It was about $10usd for a taxi into town and Mike was great about getting us one. Very close to Mayan ruin...

“We had an amazing experience staying here. It was close to the shuttle bus, market, restaurants. Having a kitchen made it easier to pack food for next day. Our host was very very helpful! She suggested local restaurant to try and helped us to find a last minute replacement tour early morning as our got cancelled late at night! We were able to leave our luggages there while we went to a half day tour, even after check out time. I highly recommend staying here! ”

“Cahel Pech is a great affordable option in San Ignacio. The pool setup is a fun amenity and meals were delicious and reasonably priced. The hotel was happy to set us up with tours and local drivers too. On a Saturday night, the local town partied loudly until 3am but I can't really fault the hotel for that. The room could be improved with a new mattress and pillows. The view of the town is super nice and there's even a local bunny that is super friendly! Staff is top notch.”

(45 minutes de San Ignacio) Les options de marches en nature sont nombreuses et très bien balisées avec en prime des baignades dans des sites enchanteurs. La nourriture est typique et excellentes. Toutefois, certains prix sont un peu élevés. Le personnel est avenant et attentionné aux moindres détails. Un séjour que nous recommandons à proximités de plusieurs attraits (Caracol et Big Rock Falls notamment). ”
